Junk Fest 2023
With 2023 being our 10th year as a brand we really wanted to do something special.
And we wanted to do something for EVERYONE...
And we bloody love our little community!
Side note: this was actually really tough because there's a whole discord full of incredible incredible bands however we had a live curfew to work to. (note to self... next year bigger & better!)

Buds. - Music for putting your fist in the air and singing along to in spite of your existential dread. Showing love for all things anthemic, combining catchy hooks with the passion of punk, emo, hardcore or just whatever they're feeling at the time.

Campfire Social - Genre blending Emo, Indie-Pop collective bringing bright harmonies layered over hypnotic melodies that help to underline a continued theme of self deprecation with a feeling of hope.

George Gadd + the Aftermath - (aka the Hug Daddy) The darlings of the DIY scene! Their music is like a warm & welcoming audio embrace, wrapping you up and making you feel like everything is going to be ok.

Pillow Fort - Taking us back to the beauty of the 2010s with their intrinsic noodly Emo tunes. Think Modern Baseball meets Glocca Morra with extra hugs. If you were to live in a Pillow Fort you'd wanna live with these folks!

Sustinere - Tunes that will 100% give you a sore neck from head banging (but you really won't care). Heavy, melodic, loud and all the riffs! If you like Royal Blood, forget them, Sustie are better!!!

The Latchkey Kids - Nostalgia drenched pop punk with a healthy dose of North West Emo. When you describe a band as having 'all bangers no clangers' that's these guys for sure.

Wood and Nails - A stunning blend of Indie, Punk & Rock with riffs that are beautifully polished and puncturing, earnest lyrics. Writing tunes that you know you'll still be listening to in years to come.

DJ Tony Bear - Purveyor of boss tunes. Bringing the afterparty beats & grooves (and basically watching everyone else throw themselves about whilst paying banger after banger until the venue closed.)
Now gigs are fun right but we wanted to add a little extra something something.
As it was a festival, we thought it best to bring the festival vibes; beach balls, inflatables & our pop-up festival shop complete with limited edition merchandise to mark the occasion. Plus we love a goodie bag so pulled together some epic treats for the first 30 through the door.
And the best part yet...
We had over 175 people through the doors and together raised a fantastic £650 for the charity Tiny Changes, a charity that is very close to our hearts.
So we're guessing next year HAS to happen so we can have more bands, more fun & more donations to an incredible charity.
